Good Morning Everybody.. In this occasion we are going to learn about Calendar. In calendar, There are Days, Dates, and Months. 

What date and month is today? Could you tell me? After we have learned about Numbers, we are going to learn how to speak and express days, dates, and Months in English.

How to write the year          How to say the year

• 1900                           = Nineteen hundred
• 1959                           = Nineteen and fifty-nine
• 2015                           = Two thousand and fifteen
• 2020                           = Two thousand and twenty

Prepositions for Days, Dates, and Months:

• For single Days, dates, and months we use 'on'. For example:

1. I was born on the 7th of the month.  I was born in July.
2. My father was born on the fifth of September 1960.

• For months we use 'in'

     For example:

1. I was born in September
2. My birthday is in September 

• Naturally speaking (How to to ask the day or date?), For example:

1. What day is it please? It's Tuesday
2. What date is it please? It's the 1st of April
3. What month is it please? It's April
4. What's the date today please? It's the 1st of April
